Michel Genet Brut-Reserve Grand Cru Champagne 2010

Michel Genet Brut-Reserve Grand Cru Champagne

Direct from the cellars of Michel Genet (whose family has been making Champagne in the Grand Cru-designated village of Chouilly for over 100 years).
$36
Profile-wise, it's very similar to Brut Esprit, but adds weight, dimension and structure to the overall package - explosive aromas of honey brioche leap from the glass, with a complexity and finish that's unmistakably Grand Cru Champagne. This wine would certainly benefit from another decade or two in the cellar.
Cam Confidential
Direct from the cellars of Michel Genet (whose family has been making Champagne in the Grand Cru-designated village of Chouilly for over 100 years). 100% Chardonnay sourced from older vines in the Grand Cru Les Partelaines vineyard, this is obviously the more serious offering - the only time you'll see a vintage year printed on any bottle of Champagne is during years of exceptional quality. The Reserve showcases a more focused, linear and supremely precise nose.
