Cab Franc is often the unsung hero of a fantastic Red Blend. Dark but mellow, funky but juicy, the grape is able to take a number of different forms that can suit a wide variety of purposes, from the Bordeaux/Meritage blends of France to the monovarietal representations found in California and New York.
