Lot 730 is a step up in refinement from your average Lodi Zin. Sourced from an esteemed producer home to numerous parcels of Lodi’s famous old vines, this is a wine that punches way above its weight class, showcasing a 70/30 split of fruit and terroir that deftly maintains the bold edge you’d expect from a Lodi red. Aged for just under a year in French oak before bottling, this is really good juice – alluring, nuanced, and an outstanding value at about half the original winery price!
