A varietal made famous by its knockout expressions in Alsace, Pinot Gris has found a perfect home in Oregon, which has firmly established itself as ground zero for what many industry insiders consider the best growing region for elegant Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay in the country.
Sourced from an iconic family-owned Oregon estate with certified biodynamic vineyards, Lot 631 was fermented in stainless steel and received four months of sur lie aging, resulting in a gorgeous, mouthwatering expression of one of Oregon’s signature varietals. Almost a decade has passed since we’ve released a Pinot Gris/Pinot Grigio - with quality like this at a phenomenal price, it was worth the wait!
We need more!
Fantastic value. Overtones of fresh pear, but more on the dry side. We love it and plan to scoop up some more before it's gone. $12??? Come on! Highly recommend this one.
Easy drinking. Nice balanced wine - enough acid, fruit and easy drinking. Pairs well with fish or good on its own.
Buying more now
Nice to have this grape available from CH, and the price is a real treat. Nice body and fruit.
Perfect for summer
Nice white wine for summer! Smooth and refreshing in warmer weather.
Perfect for Paring
Full bodied with lots of flavors to savor. Serving as part of a 5 course wine paring dinner for 10. This Pinot Gris will nicely compliment the opening course of Bruscetta and Caprise.
Starts with hints of citrus and finishes very mild with out the after taste of chardonnay
Great summer sipper
This is another second time purchase as this is a great value for hot summer afternoons.
Delicious Oregon white
We have visited the Willamette several times and love their Pinot Noir's and Pinot Gris. This wine is the perfect expression of the region's not too sweet, crisp, fruit forward white wine. It stands up to bottles from the area at twice the price. I tried it in a sampler and quickly ordered more.
This is the 4 or 5th time we have purchased this wine. It never disappoints us. We just had sushi and it was paired wonderfully. Nuy this wine by the case!
I keep writing the same comments for CH wines - value.
Great Summer wine. Not overly sweet like many Pinot Gris. I find the OR wines less produced in Jan a he cheaper CA wines. Great value
