A varietal made famous by its knockout expressions in Alsace, Pinot Gris has found a perfect home in Oregon, which has firmly established itself as ground zero for what many industry insiders consider the best growing region for elegant Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay in the country.
Sourced from an iconic family-owned Oregon estate with certified biodynamic vineyards, Lot 631 was fermented in stainless steel and received four months of sur lie aging, resulting in a gorgeous, mouthwatering expression of one of Oregon’s signature varietals. Almost a decade has passed since we’ve released a Pinot Gris/Pinot Grigio - with quality like this at a phenomenal price, it was worth the wait!
This was very enjoyable and drinkable right out of the bottle.
Excellent Value, Delicious
This has become our favorite everyday drinking wine. Light but flavorful. Not too dry. Full of flavor. Very enjoyable. Great price !!
My friend told me that he and his wife take great care to pair their wines with the perfect food. This dry white was fantastic...we paired it with white chili! It as fantastic. I am not familiar with Pinot Gris...but I look forward to ordering more because this bottle was incredible.
Outstanding Pinot Gris
We love Willamette wines and this is a real find! It's wonderful with chicken, fish and pasta. It will always be part of our future orders.
Very Good White
My wife and I have enjoyed this wine this summer. Very smooth flavor. After the first case, we have bought some additional bottles in mixed cases. Pleased with the wine.
Delicious Dinner Wine
We'd been ready to try this wine and were excited to share it with some friends over dinner. Herb-marinated chicken breast was a perfect pairing with this Pinot Gris. Very light citrus blended well with hints of fresh-mown grass. Slight mineral notes hidden within the luscious mouth-feel and a nice crisp finish. I'm only sorry that I didn't buy more. I may have to remedy that!
A great crisp white
Easy drinking white. Pairs well with lighter flavored cheeses. A crisp white for an early afternoon gathering on a warm day. I will buy this again and again.
Honey, almond and pear initially....some light citrus notes. Flavor is more of the same, though the citrus takes more of a frontal position. Fairly high acidity, but the wine is relatively soft flavor-wise. Enjoyable, easy drinking, and quite reasonable for the price.
We enjoyed sipping this on a hot afternoon this summer. Pear notes and very crisp!
Very light and clean
Very pleasant and with light notes of citrus. Finishes easy almost like pears.
