A varietal made famous by its knockout expressions in Alsace, Pinot Gris has found a perfect home in Oregon, which has firmly established itself as ground zero for what many industry insiders consider the best growing region for elegant Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay in the country.
Sourced from an iconic family-owned Oregon estate with certified biodynamic vineyards, Lot 631 was fermented in stainless steel and received four months of sur lie aging, resulting in a gorgeous, mouthwatering expression of one of Oregon’s signature varietals. Almost a decade has passed since we’ve released a Pinot Gris/Pinot Grigio - with quality like this at a phenomenal price, it was worth the wait!
Excellent Gris, Excellent Value
I love this Pinot Gris. It is smooth, pleasantly dry, with hints of citrus. I started my first bottle and had to jump up and fetch an Asian pear from the refrigerator; a fantastic pairing. The Lot 631 Pinot Gris is great with cheese and light snacks and drinks wonderfully all on its own. This is a terrific wine at this price.
Nice change and real bargain!
Refreshing wine that is a nice change from other white wines we've had lately. Real bargain too!
Really good wine
Really good wine, just as Cam's review described.
One of the best pinot gris. Glad Cameron Hughes finally has one.
Something new for me
Tried this Pino Gris to have on hand for the Holidays. Pleasantly surprised by how good and versatile it is. Will try again.
Stone and mineral with a little effervescence. A bit grassy for my palate but pairs well with oysters.
A Go To White
I am a fan. Friends say "WOW!" I am a SB wine drinker, but this Pinot Gris has got to be one of the most drinkable whites that I have ever had. Friends and family are also fans. It is fruity, but not overpowering. At this price I hope it is still available on my next reorder.
Just served this wine for Thanksgiving. This wine compares to the New Zealand wine served, Peter Yealand. Very clean and crisp. Great value.
this is a great value -- lots of flavor, not oversweet.
Not a White wine fan, opened this bottle for my wife, and could not believe the quality and “delicious” factor of this wine, not too sweet with notes of baked apple and citrus. Great effort!!
