A varietal made famous by its knockout expressions in Alsace, Pinot Gris has found a perfect home in Oregon, which has firmly established itself as ground zero for what many industry insiders consider the best growing region for elegant Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay in the country.
Sourced from an iconic family-owned Oregon estate with certified biodynamic vineyards, Lot 631 was fermented in stainless steel and received four months of sur lie aging, resulting in a gorgeous, mouthwatering expression of one of Oregon’s signature varietals. Almost a decade has passed since we’ve released a Pinot Gris/Pinot Grigio - with quality like this at a phenomenal price, it was worth the wait!
Stocked up for warm summer nights
Great Pinot for the summer. Nice light crisp white that will be a pleasure for sunset after a day out in the bay.
I taste pear as one of the dominant notes, would recommend with spicy dishes or on its own. Cheers!
Light and refreshing!
Much more interesting than I expected. Very pale yellow color. Nice nose of tropical fruits. Crisp, hinting at sweet, green apple, and minerals. Medium finish.
Great white wine
Loved it with seafood.
Crisp, clean, easy on the palette
Had some of these chilling since last year. Decided to have it with some Indian food. Was really great. I drink more red than white, and favor Chardonnay when drinking white. But, I really enjoyed the light fruitiness, the crisp taste, and the refreshing light body. I will need to get a few more for summer!
Never been a white wine fan but this one changed my mind.
I included 2 bottles of this pinot gris as part of my first purchase from cameron hughes. my wife and i have enjoyed 2 bottles. just a touch of sweetness, with a bit of fruit, a perfect, light accompaniment while relaxing on the patio in the late afternoon sun.
Didn't expect such a great white from Oregon but this was great. Loved it! And for a great price; a total win.
