Still great stuff
I cellared a few bottles of this, and opened one for a celebration dinner. Still as good as I remembered - big and dark, nice structure.

Still good after all these years!
Yes, a 2011 Syrah, which we loved at the time we bought it in May, 2015. We bought a lot...opened one of our last bottles of 423 tonight, and it is still great!
Smooth, almost thick, inky in the glass. Enjoy!

Worth the wait!
Cam recommended letting this wine rest a year or two. Just pulled the cork on the first of my six bottles of Lot 423. It's a very nice Syrah. Dark fruit, tannins are integrated, very nicely balanced, apparent oak. The finish does not go on and on, but this is a very nice wine at an excellent price. Another winner from CH Wines!

Excellent Syrah
Lot 423 has lovely dark and red fruit notes with chocolate and spice. Great balance, has a nice punch off the bat but finishes very smooth. Excellent wine, I wish I could get more!

Full Earthy Flavor
I'm not always a fan of Syrah, but this was a full flavored, earthy, complex wine that is well worth the price.

Terrific Syrah at a Great Price
Syrah is one of my favorites these days. And not readily available on Cam Hughes. So this is a great value red. Full bodied with a rich finish

A Pleasant Surprise!
My wife and I were pleasantly impressed by this Syrah. Full bodied and bold with a long, rich finish. Excellent paired with some of our favorite recipes or enjoyed all alone. An excellent value.

one of our new favorites
This was a great bold syrah, from the fragrance to the last taste. We ordered when on sale and bought 6 bottles. I wish we would have gotten more! It was a perfect compliment to our beef stew dinner, and just as good alone.

A Good Syrah
A good Syrah for the price. It was missing a little something that I couldn't quite put my taste bids on. If it were available, I'd buy more.

So much like St. Joseph
Love this one. So remeniscient of the 2011 St. Joseph--uncanny. The nose much like a richer style Pinot, with similar body and color. It's got that great, unique almost gamey quality, but pure and fruity, with a long, dry, rich finish. There are plenty of good wines out there for this price, but this is a winner, hands down. Very drinkable any day, but a bit more. Well worth the price!
