Worth the wait

Burnished cranberry red, with spice and crushed raspberries on the nose. Medium to full bodied, black cherries, herbs, rustic tannins, smoke, dark chocolate, and a medium length finish. Took awhile, but it got to where it needed to be.

Excellent right out of the bottle

I opened this one almost immediately and was glad I did. I'm sure it would have evolved in the bottle, but it was fresh and lively and I hope for my syrahs!

Excellent Syrah with characteristics of a Pinot.

This was an excellent wine that was medium bodied and Ruby and color. It had characteristics of a Pinot so if you like Syrahs and Pinots you will love this Syrah.

Well worth it

Great taste, great price.

Good and simple

This was a good drinkable wine but not complex. I probably should have let it breath a little longer. I never can wait.... Santa Ynez Valley wines are near and dear to us and we tend to favor them over Napa, but I was not as excited with this one as others. Still, as with all CH wines, its a great value and worth a try.

Great bold Wine

Really enjoyed this wine. Sorry we didn't purchase more. Looking forward to the next batch of Syrah.

My favorite red

Love this wine. Should've purchased more. I don't think it is available anymore. Definitely 5 stars.

somewhat disappointed

Thin drinking. Lacks finish. CHW has much better red choices.

good everyday wine

This wine drinks like a ripe Cotes du Rhone. Black/dark fruit on the nose with some minerality. We drank it over a couple of hours and it seemed to get better with each glass. A good wine for everyday enjoyment.
