Lot 377 2009 Monterey Pinot Noir offers a brilliant ruby color and lovely, archetypal Pinot nose of black cherry, strawberry and cola with hints of pie crust and orange peel. On the palate this complex wine shows excellent depth of flavors with pomegranate, raspberry, strawberry infused tea, white pepper and well integrated oak. Delicious.

Lot 377 is sourced from vineyards in Arroyo Seco and the Santa Lucia Highlands, both regions located in Monterey County. We picked up some fantastic Pinot Noir shiners (unlabeled bottles of wine) from a great winery. The wine is top notch and honestly, we're unsure of why they were letting this wine go. It has just a touch of Santa Maria Pinot Noir blended in as well. This wine is perfect for the holidays and new year. Poultry dishes anyone?
