This wine is brought to us by the same grower group that produced our recent Pinot Noir and Napa Merlot releases. Lot 215 2009 Willamette Valley Chardonnay comes from the northern end of the Eola-Amity Hills regions, home to many of Oregon’s finest Pinot Noir grapes. The cool-climate, combined with shallow, well-drained volcanic soils, is IDEAL for both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Lot 215 is all done in stainless steel with a partial malolactic fermentation to soften some of the acidity and round out the mouth feel of the wine.
