The uber-unique mélange of grapefruit rind, apple cider mash and ginger should make this a terrific accompaniment to the Thanksgiving table. Ginger, apple, and firm, chalky, pectin-like minerality define the dry yet rich palate – I imagine washing down a fork full of turkey smothered in ginger candied yams with this would be heavenly.

A sommelier's wet-dream, native-yeast-barrel-fermented 30-80 year-old-vine Chenin-Blanc from the Loire Valley. This Chenin is unlike just about any white wine I can remember, so only the adventurous need apply (and make sure to keep away from your drunk uncle). This is a super-funky wine and a real rarity…less than 200 cases produced and we have five of them.
