Domaine Bernard-Bonin Meursault "Le Limozin"

Domaine Bernard-Bonin Meursault "Le Limozin"

SRP $65. One of the best white wines to ever show up in our store.
$49
It starts with an intense bouquet of white blossom, beeswax, lemon and rock, and as it opens up, is like sticking your nose in fresh honeysuckle blossoms. Vibrant on the palate, with lemon oil and river rock minerality becoming increasingly seamless, eventually turning into an exuberant mélange of diamond coated lemon, liquid mineral and honeysuckle blossom. Orgasmic.
Cam Confidential
Le Limozin is a “village” level vineyard about a mile and a half away from the Grand Cru vineyards of Montrachet, and is renowned for punching way above its weight class, often outperforming the surrounding Premier Cru vineyards. Bonin’s ’13 offering is simply one of the best white wines I’ve ever had. I drank this over the course of four days, and was bowled over by its ever-emerging complexity.
