Inky, full-bodied, peppery. Bought quite a few bottles after I tasted the first, and opened another tonight, which we enjoyed with a greek pizza. Perfect!
One of the Best
Deep magenta with crimson streaks. Cedar, violets, and blueberry nose. Medium to full bodied, blackberries, pepper, mushrooms, woody tannins, dark chocolate, some heat, tobacco, good acid, and a long finish. Great mouthfeel and very tasty.

Well, once again glad I laid this one down. Drinking well and balanced. Simply delicious!

Outstanding Syrah; rich fruit with deep but well integrated tannins
We loved this and bought a case after trying about 10 different bottles from CH. This is almost inky with rich fruit, spice, and deep, well integrated tannins that give it tremendous character. Let it sit for a couple weeks before drinking, and a little air helps, too, but this is a best value. Now that the case is almost gone, I'm hooked on Syrahs.
Fruit on the nose and taste but not a lot of nose.Some cherries on the finish--can be drunk now but I am going to wait until 2018 to drink the last bottle
This syrah is a great find. A blast of blackberry fruit, with some pepper. Paired with steak so well. Drink slowly and enjoy the flavors!
K Syrah Syrah
Agree with others who say it needs to breath . . . warm up a little, but when it does - look out. Also sad it is sold out, but glad I grabbed a few bottles before it was - great value! Pairing very will with some 90% coca supreme dark chocolate!
