Good Lodi Zin
Great value wine, definitely lodi grapes, good value everyday drinker.

Old Leather Work Boots
Having been a big fan of CH I have had a couple of poor experiences lately. I did not like this one at all. It has to be one of the worst California Zins I have tasted and I lived near Napa for 20+ years. I know this is from old vines but that doesn't mean it has to taste stale. It really tasted pretty off. I ended up using it as a cooking wine. Seems to me there are very few wines in my price range, so I am going to try shopping elsewhere.

Easy drinking
This was a hit in our house. Probably not what those who spend 50-100 a bottle want, but excellent for a daily wine.
Richard
very enjoyable drinking wine
excellent for the price. the wine has good taste with strong nose.

Uninspiring
Rather thin with minimal fruit concentration and a bland somewhat dry finish. OK for quaffing but not representative of an Old Vine Zinfandel.

Ok
Not very exciting, just an ok zin, still pretty good considering the price.

Round, fruity and great with food
A favorite of mine, only second to the Russian River Zin.

Enjoy!
Really loved this wine.

Easy to drink
Zins are a curious animal. Some are very powerful, and others are smooth and pleasant. This one was a bit dry, maybe a little more dry than I'd like, but has a very nice pepper without the strong spicy bite. It's summery in a way, easy to drink. This might be really good with grilled pork chops.

Classic Summer Wine
Fruity, soft, tellecherry pepper fruit without the spiciness. Summery and easy drinking stuff. Would have this one with smoked pork chops to accentuate the sweetness.
