The latest from the most top-reviewed Cabernet series in our site's history. Feedback from our customers for Lots 451, 545, and 598 was tremendous, and the critics also showered praise.
Meteor Vineyard sits on a plateau of old alluvial gravels in Coombsville District’s geological “bowl”. Nature saw fit to form the incredible soils of this region on a diverse array of stony lake deposits and river sediments, resting on bedrock shaped by lava flows and other volcanic discharges from a time long forgotten. Coombsville enjoys a growing season with morning fog and afternoon winds that shorten midday heat; maritime influences from the San Pablo Bay keep conditions cool leading up to harvest. It’s a very special place to grow exquisite Cabernets, and the list of blue-chip “cult” wineries sourcing from here is very long.
