The Trediberri Cantina (three brothers from the local village of Berri) is relatively new to the La Morra region of Barolo, but they’ve established themselves quite nicely with some fantastic wines. The Barbera d'Alba comes from 30-year-old vines planted in the steep marl of the Trediberri estate's Torriglione vineyard. Way more sophistication than you’d expect at this price point or from Barbera in general – this is real artisanal stuff with 5-7 years of cellarability but with a pop and pour approachability that will make it your go-to Tuesday night wine.
