Prepping for Summer with Cameron Hughes Wine

Original post from: The B Werd

I can’t remember all that I’ve done so far this year, but I’ve looked up and we’re suddenly in the middle of May. The blog has been doing so well and growing quicker than ever. Professionally, I’ve been tackling some new projects and increasing my workload all around. Personally, we’re planning for a wedding and a move and life seems to be coming at us so fast. Time has flown and with a dozen things going on at once, I try and find time in each day to take a few moments doing something I enjoy. Summer is approaching and it’s easily our favorite season. Luckily for us, things will be sailing much smoother by then. We’re trying to find new and small ways to enjoy one another even if just for a short time everyday so this past weekend, we opened up a few bottles of Cameron Hughes wine that we had and put some burgers on the grill.

We typically keep bottles of wine in stock at home to share with guests, enjoy with our dinner, or a bubble bath if I’ve had a really long day (which seems to be everyday these days!). Cameron Hughes is a wine company that some friends of ours introduced us to and what they raved about the most is the quality wine you get for the price. Cameron Hughes Wine is all about what’s inside the bottle. They don’t use any fancy labels, they have a simple website, and instead choose to focus on high quality wine at affordable prices. They’re a Direct-To-Consumer wine brand, meaning they source their wine and sell directly to the customer which is why they can sell a $80 Cabernet for $30.

Red wine is easily my favorite, preferably a blend or Pinot Noir but it was way too warm outside for it. We brought out two bottles of white, a Riesling and Chardonnay, that were perfectly chilled. The Riesling was perfection. Not too sweet and so refreshing and was my favorite out of the three. Surprisingly it even paired well with a burger LOL. If you’d like to try them for yourself, you can get free shipping when you purchase 3 bottles of wine using code: INEEDWINE18.
