Wine Details

Our 2010 vintage Cabernet Reserve is youthful and vibrant with refined elegance. Though the 2010 season was cooler than normal in Napa Valley, the fruit was allowed to develop to full maturity for saturation of flavors and complexity before picking. Exotically spicy aromas of violet, blueberry, chocolate, and espresso are incredibly enticing. The wine is opulent and lush on the palate with layers of black and blue fruits, tea leaves, and chaparral laced with compact, mineral infused tannins.

Cam Confidential

A winery owned by one of the biggest names in cult Napa Valley Cabernet has quietly changed hands. The vineyards themselves were not a part of the transaction, and because of the lack of continuity in vineyard sourcing for future productions, the winery's library collection became available. The Cameron Hughes Private Reserve Collection is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a piece of one the world's most exclusive wine libraries.

This is a rich full bodied wine, with smooth tannins. In my opinion the best of this series. R

I really liked this wine. Had it for dinner last night along with a nice Filet Mignon. The two paired together perfectly. This wine is dark and rich on the palate with just the right amount of tannin.

We had this wine alongside a bottle of DB4 and a Hillside Select. While it didn't top the Hillside, it put the DB4 to shame. Soft, rich, and voluptuous with lots of blue fruits and well integrated oak. My friend who had brought the other 2 wines was blown away and immediately asked me to refer him to chwine.com. This was the 4th bottle of my vertical and I have yet to be disappointed!
