Wine Details
Black wine with a reddish rim. Young and tight on the nose with a brooding quality that shows its youth and mountain heritage. Racy and sleek with black fruits, toasty oak, and sweet spices. Ripe, dark, and intense throughout, this wine is undeniably one of the best expressions of Mt. Veeder Cabernet with exceptional mouthfeel. It also happens to be very tight, so decant for now if you must commit infanticide. Previous bottlings have all been priced in the $40 to $80 range, so this is an exceptional deal at $19.

This was #1!
This was my first bottle of CH wine. Good old 84. I drank it right away, but I wish I still had a bottle to see how it would have aged (well, I'm sure). Nice to see the original label! This wine began a long and fruitful relationship.
