Excellent extraction on the pour, with long legs and good hang time. The nose displays a harmonious amalgamation of red berries, blue fruit, and red bell pepper with black currant undertones, all lifted by dried herbs, mocha, and cedar. Plush on the entry, red and black fruit is unveiled by medium acidity, backed by terroir-driven new leather and plentiful, firm tannins. The finish is long, carried by elements of blackberry, spice box, and an earthy Oakville terroir je ne sais quoi that’s accented by rich waves of barrel umami. It's the final piece of any at-home Michelin Star meal.
