One of the last rural and undeveloped regions of Sonoma, the Knights Valley AVA is one of the best kept secrets of North Coast wine country. Produced by the same small family estate winery that made Lot 727 and aged in French oak for a year, this wine showcases New World fruit-forwardness, yet enough terroir to satisfy any light Bordelaise cravings. The Left Bank fans will be quite pleased here, as will fans of our Alexander Valley Cab releases.
$50+/bottle at the tasting room, it's a tremendous value at this price.
Let it Breathe!
This one needs to open up a bit to reveal itself. If not, it's OK. After an hour or so, another story. Very good value from Cameron Hughes.
Very competent Cab! I wish I had purchased more of it. Great nose, taste to match, very good color, and pairs as you would expect. Or just by itself, a lovely competent Cab.
Very affordable Cab
After an hour decant, it was perfect with my strip steak!
another KV winner!
Nice every day drinker.
Great value. Great taste.
Really enjoyed the wine. The cherry comes through most of all. The feel is smooth, rich, and not to heavy. I would buy this again. Too bad it's sold out.
Love the Knight's Valley
While this didn't blow me away, I do like wines from this region. Will be buying more whenever I can!
Good everyday Cab
This is a good every day cab especially if you let it decant for an hour or so. I ordered more.
One of my favorites
This Knights Valley production is by far one of my Cameron Hughes Favorites - sure hope they get more as its sold out - Very smooth
hugely disappointed that this has sold out
really loved this cab, not too much fruit, and and unique taste and smell for a cab. we should have purchased more than just two.
