Located in the south of Mendocino, at the headwaters of the Russian River and Navarro River watersheds and separating the Alexander Valley from the Anderson Valley, the foggy vineyards of the Yorkville Highlands AVA are planted in rocky, gravelly soils that offer terrific drainage at high elevation (850-2500ft).
Lot 724 is our first release from this region in almost a decade, sourced from a picturesque little family-owned winery nestled at the northwestern side of the Anderson Valley. Produced by fantastic winemaking talent with top training and pedigree that left the big names to pursue a labor of love to call their own, this is a dynamic Pinot aged in French oak that showcases terrific character and a sense of place.
Little acidity but great with pasta and red sauce
This wine had a little more acidity then what I am used to from Pinot Niors but not too overpowering. This wine paired nicely with pasta and meatballs in red sauce.
Nice wine, great in summer
THis Pinot was good, wasn't great, but was good and easy to drink.
Lighter and a little oxidized. I was hoping it would be the best of your recent run of great pinots
Lighter style pinot, great with lighter foods
Another great Pinot from Cameron!
A nice lighter style Pinot.
Perfect Summer Pinot
Nice and light, great for summer!
Pretty good pinot
Terrific wine with lighter fare!
Enjoyed this one!!
The wine poured a nice light Garnet and smelled amazing. I tasted notes of berry, cherry cola, mushroom, and a little spice at the end. A lighter Pinot which I enjoy. I liked this one more than the Willamette Valley lot I bought before. I’ll definitely buy more, great find.
Nice light pinot - good with food and just sipping,
