Located in the south of Mendocino, at the headwaters of the Russian River and Navarro River watersheds and separating the Alexander Valley from the Anderson Valley, the foggy vineyards of the Yorkville Highlands AVA are planted in rocky, gravelly soils that offer terrific drainage at high elevation (850-2500ft).
Lot 724 is our first release from this region in almost a decade, sourced from a picturesque little family-owned winery nestled at the northwestern side of the Anderson Valley. Produced by fantastic winemaking talent with top training and pedigree that left the big names to pursue a labor of love to call their own, this is a dynamic Pinot aged in French oak that showcases terrific character and a sense of place.
Best Pinot for price
Best Pinot we have had for the price point in awhile! Cheers!
For the price, we all very much enjoyed this Pinot! Good flavor and left everyone very satisfied!
Nice and Light
If you are looking for something for eveything- right down the middle- this is it. I'd like a little more body, but it does a perfect job of satisfying a broad palate of food.
Smooth and enjoyable
Nice balance, cherry cola and a touch of vanilla.
I love Pinot and this one is up there for the price.
Unlike some of the other reviewers I believe I like Lot 729 a bit more but it's definitely still a great wine for the price.
Another case, please!
Just ordered another case of this - great flavor, finish and body. Not only pairs well with food but also on its own.
Good value Pinot!
This wine is one of our favorites. Good body with lots of fruit.
This pinot noir is fabulous! It's light and smooth and delicious. You would expect to pay a lot more for a pinot of this quality!
One of my favorite Pinots
This is one of my favorite wines. It compares very well to more expensive Pinot Noirs that I have enjoyed.
