Sourced from one of the most renowned and venerated wine-growing districts in the world. Low yields per vine are required to obtain good sugar levels, intense color, and the fullest flavor extraction. Traditional fermentation is followed by malolactic fermentation and then laid to rest for 4 years of aging (hence the Riserva moniker; non-Riserva Barbaresco requires 2 years). From the best south-facing slopes in Barbaresco and with a good bit of barrel and bottle aging, Lot 692 is an Italian masterpiece.
An Italian stunner
Shared this wine with my sister who has returned from Italy after living there for five years. She is the family wine snob and loved this one!! A beautiful dry red with old world notes!!! Get it before its gone!!
Old World deliciousness
I love Old World wines, especially these earthy ones from Italy. Leather, anise, and tobacco with dusky cherry and still medium bodied. A nice treat!
Great for a special occasion.
Old World style wines are not typically my favorite, but this Barbaresco is done very well. I noted leather and black licorice on the nose. Very dry with soft tannins; would pair very well with any Italian food!
Ripe cherries and some leather and earthiness on the nose. Red fruits with a smidge of tartness, inviting acidity, and smooth oaky tannins on the palette that linger for a medium long finish. This is just a super smooth, well balanced wine.
Love these old vintage Italian wines. Nothing goes better with Italian food. Cherries , oak, and soft tannins.
pleasantly surprised how good this is.
We ordered 2 bottles of the '07 Barbaresco, not sure what to expect due to age. should have known Cameron Hughes would not offer a a questionable product. after an hour of decant, this vino was superb. will be back for more.
We ordered 3 bottles of this wine to try it out. For the first bottle, we decanted it for an hour before enjoying it. It was very dry and really enjoyable. It’s not often that you can find a 2007 vintage wine, especially at this price point.
We liked it enough to buy a case of it before it sold out.
If you are looking for an old world wine that is a great value look no further!

Lot 692-Barbaresco is Amazing
The Cameron Hughes Wine Club introduced us to this wonderful wine which is worthy of serving at your special occasions. It paired well with a prime rib dinner.
Really enjoyed this perfectly aged Barbaresco
We decanted this for about half hour and had it with a lasagna. It’s a softer/lighter red but very smooth and dry. Almost enjoyed it as much as the Barolo.
First Bottle, Second Shipment
Original order was for three bottles. Those three were a wow so I came back for more, a case. First bottle from this case was just as good as the first three. Get this before it's gone.
