Brought this to a dinner party with Italian food and and it was loved all around. We decanted for almost and hour and think if we hadn’t it would have been a bit much but delicious with our red sauced pasta dishes.
A Wonderful Red
Excellent Red Wine. I'm new to the Barbera Grape, but was definitely not disappointed. On the Nose, notes of blueberry and black berry, and a hint of spiciness. Was much better after decanting about 30 minutes. Would (WILL) definitely buy again if its not sold out. Thanks CHW. Cheers, Trent
Dark heavy wine with herbaceous undertones - love this wine. Great value
Week Day Wine
This grape was new to me and I'll look forward to sampling it again. Like all of CH wines, I have not been disappointed and I will have this one again.
Value is great, taste is decent
Inky to say the least, this one must be drank with some food. By itself, it's almost overpoweringly heavy, but with some food, it's a bit more balanced.
Great everyday wine . Great value for the price
Once opened for a bit, to me became smooth to drink. Have also served to friends, they enjoyed also. Will be ordering more.
Drink with a meal
It was a great wine, but not something I enjoyed on its own.
Great with stew!
This is not my favorite sipping wine as it has somewhat of a bite. It is great with food, especially stews, though.
Give it time
Thoroughly enjoyed the wine after the bottle had been open for a couple hours.
Can't beat this wine for the money. Had a bottle last night.
Good price value.
