great food wine
What a bargain
Great with red meat. Very complex, hits all the notes
Good value Barbera, though a little on the sweeter side
5 out of the 6 CH wines I tried blew me away, so I feel like I may have too high of a standard for this barbera.. It was still a great bottle for the price especially in comparison to what you can buy here in PA at liquor stores, but I loved the other CH wines I ordered more.
This Barbera was bold, smooth, and very enjoyable. I liked it so much I went to order more and was sad to see it was sold out.
Good every day red.
While not as good as the Italian Barbera offered by CH this is a very enjoyable every day red. Goes well with pasta and a red sauce or hamburgers, etc.
This wine definitely tastes like it's grown in a warm climate. Though there's a lot of fruit both on the nose and palate it's not jammy. I think it's a treasure when I find a good Barbera and this one fits the bill.
Not my favorite
I prefer other Cameron Hughes wines to this one.
Big and bold old world wine
This wine is dark and fruity with bold tannins. Give it some time to air and the flavor come on strong without being cloying.
My first Barbera and it was wonderful, a great wine at a great value. I wish I would have tried it sooner as it is now sold out.
Delightfully familiar at half the price
I favor Italian reds from Tuscany and Lombardy so what a surprise to find this delicious Barbera in the classic style. So sorry it's out of stock. I hope it comes back.
Great value for this wine. Full body fruity wine.
