Wine Details
The nose of this delicate Chardonnay from western Australia explodes with tropical fruit full of kiwi, lemon zest, peachy aromas, and a wet, stony minerality. A floral bouquet resonates with the fresh fragrance of spring that is complemented with full peach notes and a flinty, seashell minerality on the palate. On a blind taste, even the expert connoisseur could easily mistake this wine for a neutrally oaked Chablis. The finish envelopes a refreshingly crisp, lemony citrus (the wine is well supported with acidity) with a toasty kiss of French oak. Close your eyes and let the finish linger as lemon custard comes to mind. A clean, bright, fresh wine with just a hint of oak. Enjoy with oysters, clams, or whitefish—preferably on a warm day.
