CHW Confidential
A big, rich, killer old vine Petite Sirah-Syrah blend that comes to us from a gentleman who has spent the last 30-40 years producing wine up there in Mendocino. Located north of Napa and Sonoma, bordered by a rugged coast to the west and redwood-blanketed mountains to the east, the region is home to an eclectic mix of about 100 small family-owned wineries that specialize in growing Mediterranean climate grapes like Syrah, Petite Sirah, Grenache, and Zinfandel. Care to know an insider secret? High-end Napa and Sonoma wineries have been purchasing Mendo fruit to strengthen their wines for a long time now.
The quality for price found in this wine will blow you away.
