Wine Details

Pours dark and brooding in the glass with long, inky legs, followed by a nose that showcases harmonious, delineated black cherry, crushed violets, and hints of plum. On the palate, you're immediately embraced by a dry wine exhibiting an array of black fruits and mocha with fine, firm tannins. The finish switches gears, taking you from the realm of bold fruits to that of lilac flowers and dried herbs - an inviting conclusion that demands another taste.

The fourth and final release in a series of exceptional red wine values we’ve sourced from a family-owned, boutique North Coast winery that specializes in small-lot, top-quality wines made from certified organic vineyards in Lake County and the Sierra Foothills (and boasts a massive laundry list of 90+ scores and double gold medals from the past decade to boot).

Sourced from a kick-ass volcanic vineyard site at about 1500 feet elevation, in smartly-planted, conscientiously-farmed vineyards. Farmed to perfection and produced to be reflective of place and varietal, this is a powerful statement of quality. Already a terrific value under the original label at $25, and an incredible deal under ours.
