The third in a series of exceptional red wine values we’ve sourced from a family-owned, boutique North Coast winery that specializes in small-lot, top-quality wines made from certified organic vineyards in Lake County and the Sierra Foothills (and boasts a massive laundry list of 90+ scores and double gold medals from the past decade to boot).
Sourced from a kick-ass volcanic vineyard site at about 1500 feet elevation, in smartly-planted, conscientiously-farmed vineyards. Farmed to perfection and produced to be reflective of place and varietal, this is a powerful statement of quality. Already a terrific value under the original label at $25, and an incredible deal under ours.
Very good wine
Pour and wait 15 minutes; or decant. Very tasty wine..one I will share with friends.
Not for everybody
Not sure if it was too peppery or what but it didn't agree with my wife.
Keep it coming
Sips well on its own after decanting.
Great price and will buy again!
This Petite Sirrah is very enjoyable. I decanted it for about 1 hour as recommended but others reviews and found it you be delicious! The bold fruit flavors are wonderful.
Enjoyed this wine, very flavorful.
A very nice wine. Robust and full bodied. Great choice for any wine lover and at a great price. It’s already on my next purchase list of wines.
Will order again
Poured very dark and inky, a bit jammy at first with a nice peppery finish - good value.
Very smooth but still sneaky complexity
Wanted to try this one right away. Opened and let it breathe for about 30 minutes. Nice fruit aroma and fruit on first taste. It was paired with a nice grilled beef filet and creamed spinach. It handled the meal with ease and got more complex as dinner progressed. A great value you can drink as a go to daily wine or serve to your best friends.
Well balanced and luxurious
Once it has opened up with aeration it becomes very silky smooth with lots of bold but subtle flavors. Great value and very good wine. Highly recommended
