Sourced from a small, boutique producer in Red Mountain, Lot 637 is a beautiful example of artisanally-crafted Cabernet Sauvignon. Complex and aromatic on the nose with a soft, supple, juicy palate, this Cabernet combines deft winemaking with a focus on terroir. Sourced primarily from terrific Wahluke Slope and Yakima Valley vineyards and aged in French oak for 16 months, this is a total crowd-pleaser – imminently quaffable and accessible, while still delivering exceptional complexity and a supple, luxurious mouthfeel you simply will not find anywhere near this price point. Yours for $14 – under half the original price!
Good price, really enjoyed this one, should have pick up some more!
A somewhat lighter Cab
A little on the light side but still pretty full bodied. Someone else said “ a Good daily drinker” and if you needed a good value wine for your every day meals, you can’t beat this one, Needs some good air time, but is worth the wait.
Really Robust Red
Fantastic red that pairs well with steak
Really nice surprise
I like most of the Columbia Valley Cabs that I have tasted and this was one of the best! I opened and let it sit for about 3 hours before pouring a glass. The cherry is very prevalent on the first taste, and was detectable on each sip. It was balanced well with the light tannins at the end so nothing was overpowering the everything. I am kicking myself for waiting so long to try it, as it now appears to be out of stock.
Best bang for the buck
All around daily drinker. Light enough for daylight hours but with complexity. Needs decanting 24 +hours to get the mouse off. Price is right. Over 10 cases consumed. Wish there was more.
Smooth on the palate
This Cab is perfect in my mind! Checks all the boxes!
Give it some air!
This wine benefits from decanting. Cherry and raspberry aromas. Well balanced. A good wine to pair with many foods. The second glass is better than the first!
Beautiful cherry note
This wine was fantastic. The initial cherry and currant taste followed by a smooth a mellow and light finish. Really enjoyed this wine with a nice peppery fillet on a cool simmer evening
This is the third time I ordered this
The wife’s favorite cab so six bottles this time
good for summer
enjoyed the wine. Nice to drink on the patio
