Wine Details

Opens on the nose with pretty Bing cherry and raspberry notes underpinned with dark chocolate. Blackberry and sage emerge with a few minutes of air and give the wine fantastic aromatic complexity. The entry is supple and perfectly balanced, with ripe raspberry, blackberry fruit notes, and chocolatey earth seamlessly woven together, finishing with elegance and persistence. Again, this is a deftly balanced wine focused on grace and harmony. If you value food-friendliness and deliciousness, Lot 637 delivers – big time.

Sourced from a small, boutique producer in Red Mountain, Lot 637 is a beautiful example of artisanally-crafted Cabernet Sauvignon. Complex and aromatic on the nose with a soft, supple, juicy palate, this Cabernet combines deft winemaking with a focus on terroir. Sourced primarily from terrific Wahluke Slope and Yakima Valley vineyards and aged in French oak for 16 months, this is a total crowd-pleaser – imminently quaffable and accessible, while still delivering exceptional complexity and a supple, luxurious mouthfeel you simply will not find anywhere near this price point. Yours for $14 – under half the original price!

This one was a bit harsh for me. Good value given the price and a solid table wine. But I think there are other Cameron Hughes (like 567) that are better for the price. I almost felt like this was more of a zinfandel then a cab. Still pretty good value for the price.

Mellow comes to mind. I just learned that swirling it and letting it sit enhances an already yummy cab. Think fireplace or medium rare NYStrip!

Another great buy from washington wines, it had a really nice finish.

Just received this wine. Columbia Valley reds are the best. I let it sit for an hour (maybe decant?) and the wine is as advertised...nice balance; not too fruity. I really am enjoying Columbia reds.

This cabernet really tastes like California cabernet. It's rich and full flavor is a compliment to fine food or can be sipped and enjoyed. The wine has exceptional body and flavor and is a real deal at its price point.

This is a good, well-balanced cab. It opened up nicely, so I would recommend uncorking and letting it sit for a while before you pour your first glass.

This is a great everyday cab, particularly for the price. Would definitely buy more.
