A top notch white
If one likes white wines, this one cannot be beat. It is a wonderful substitute for a chard. I'll take it and love, with dinners, friends, and relaxing afternoon sipping in the shade.
I am sorry this is out of stock. I only have 26 bottles left. If I had more storage area I would have bought more. Had a bottle today at lunch with BLT. Greta stuff.
Non-Distinct, Pair with Anything
Mild pear, green apple, and a hint of grass on the nose. Similar on the taste, very mild green apple, pear, and fermented lemon with moderate acidity. Finish is the same with a bit of mineral emerging. Given its non-distinct, almost bland flavor, this wine would pair well with most foods.
Reminds me of summer in Vienna
If you've been to Austria, you probably love 'Gruner' and this wine is a great way to bring back those memories. Goes well with food and is nice on it's own too.
I have long been a fan of the Gruner Veltliner grape , having lived in Austria for a few years, so I had certain expectations for this wine. However, It exceeded my expectations by being more complex, bold and having more character than the typical Veltliner. I served to my wine club and they all raved about it including a retired VP of Banfi. Good job CH!
Never heard of this grape. What a wonderful surprise was the first sip. Marvelous. Chilled we enjoyed a bottle out on the balcony. Decided we'd try another bottle with dinner. Worked beautifully.
Great patio wine
I buy it by the case for summer sipping.
It’s a unique white, not sweet but still refreshing
Delicious and Light!
Light and delicious! Good to enjoy with a meal!
Great wine for everyday. Light flavor with a citrus finish. Good by itself or with food.
Low acidity and stone fruit
I have been looking for a summer sipper that isn't acidic and found this wine to be nicely balanced. I enjoyed the notes of peaches and nectarines making the perfect sipper for a warm summer afternoon on the deck.
