Similarly to how we got our Albariño series started, I reached out to the producer with a proposal to bottle under our Lot program, allowing us to pass the savings along to you without impacting their price in the marketplace.
Sourced from 30+ year-old head-trained bush vines, handpicked and fermented in concrete tanks in the Valdejalon region of Spain. The identical wine under its winery label scored 90pts from Parker’s Wine Advocate – at $12/bottle, this is an unbeatable deal.
Incredible wine. Raspberry all day. Mouthfeel of cherry skins. The black pepper note was in the background and a welcome guest to the party. Let it breathe for a bit. Paired it with flank steak tacos. The cumin and pepper on the steak brought a new dimension to the wine. Well done
Fruity and tart. Doesn’t need to breathe very long. Nice dry finish. Good price
A bit tart but a nice wine. Would be great in summer with a nice grilled meal. Great price too.
Wish there was more
A great change of varietal from the typical US Cabs, Pinots, and blends. Medium body, fruit forward, low tannins.
Great with food!
Nice bright fruit on the nose. Not at all heavy but still a substantial wine. Very enjoyable and got even better with food!
Great summertime red wine
Delicious and easy drinking wine. Great for bar b q and even early evening snacking.
Fruity... goes with so many foods so nicely!
Super bummer, I was about to order another 1/2 case of this. I included 3 bottles in my last order and LOVE it! As soon as it is available, I will order more. I love spanish reds and this is a perfect spanish red
sad it's sold out
This was a hit at our dinner party last night! Went online this morning to order more and saw it was sold out. I have never been disappointed with anything I've ordered from Cameron Hughes.
