Wine Details
Sublime, high-toned aromas of flowers, ripe blackberry, and molten licorice leap out of the glass. Luscious entry on the palate, redolent with dense, brooding dark fruits. Umami succulence abounds, bolstered by powerful structure and sensual textures. Power, precision, and depth – another velvet skyscraper of a wine.

Meteor Vineyard sits on a plateau of old alluvial gravels in Coombsville District’s geological “bowl”. Nature saw fit to form the incredible soils of this region on a diverse array of stony lake deposits and river sediments, resting on bedrock shaped by lava flows and other volcanic discharges from a time long forgotten. A cool climate region, Coombsville enjoys a growing season with morning fog and afternoon winds that shorten midday heat; maritime influences from the San Pablo Bay keep conditions cool leading up to harvest. It’s a very special place to grow exquisite Cabernet, and the list of producers sourcing here is a who’s who of blue chip cult wineries.
