Amazing for the price!
Great blend for the price point
Great Red Blend
Washington State never seems to disappoint when it comes to reds. This one was just as enjoyable, bold, smooth as you would expect from a California red.
2015 means a smooth wine that still has some guts
The nose is blackberries, leather, and earthiness. With air, more black cherry in the mix. The wine is medium bodied, tannins have smoothed out with age, and even smoother with a little time. A delightful wine,, for a great price.
Nice complexity for the price
Aromas of red fruit with an accent of coconut and a whiff of grilled meat. Powerful and complex with a combination of red fruit and dark fruit flavors, moderately stiff tannins, and a slight salty bacon note mid-palate. Good length with fruit flavors carrying right through to the finish. Probably about as good as it is going to get-- drink up in the next couple of years.
Great rich, dark flavor!
The dark, rich color is true to its dark, rich flavor. This is a great value wine. I thoroughly enjoyed this wine!
Dark and bold
This is a big, dark and bold red wine that is a terrific bargain for those who like big beefy reds. And that’s us. Would definitely buy it again.
I really enjoyed this wine! I am a big fan of Columbia Valley wine, and this one did not disappoint. It was smooth and easy to drink. I'm glad I bought a second bottle to enjoy later!
Dry, oaky blend
Aroma is blackberry, some crushed rock, little bit of loam, with a faint richness coming thru. Flavor has a lot of oak initially, with tannins assertive. Comes across a lot thinner and dryer than I was expecting. The blackberry note is still there, but much more subdued than it was in the aroma. Enjoyed the aroma more than the flavor....ok, but not something I'd order more of.
At 2015, it is the oldest vintage that I have ordered from CH Wine. I really enjoy all of Cam's blends. This is no exception. It is extremely dark in the glass, with plenty of red fruit. Sadly, now out of stock.
What a Treat!
I love it and I am a big sucker when CH puts out wines for sake that you thought was long gone. This is my new favorite. Nice smoky and slows down the world!
