This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a 2010-2013 vertical of pedigreed, gorgeous, single vineyard designate Pinot Noir from what is universally lauded as one of the best places to grow Pinot in the United States - the Santa Rita Hills. The vineyard is specifically mentioned and highly lauded by Antonio Galloni in his 2014 report on the region. However, instead of the going rate of $50+/bottle, this amazing collection can be had for just $19/bottle. Each vintage features the same vineyard, is comprised of a 115, 667, and 777 Dijon clone blend (more about Pinot Noir clones here), is made from the same barrel regimen, and bottled unfined and unfiltered – in short, a perfectly consistent snapshot of the vintage.
Great nose and concentration
Outstanding concentrated nose. This is a very nice floral wine that is drinking now but I think it would get better with a bit more time in the bottle. If you open it in the near future, please allow about an hour or so in the glass before you drink it. It goes very well with beef stews and other heavy dishes.
More flavorful than 2010 (though not as lush), 2011 or 2012. An exceptional pinot noir.
Good as PnP
great the 1st night (pnp) - even better than the 516, but not as good the 2nd night. Thing seem to fall apart on the 2nd night. Will try to vac it next time.
Baby pinot drinking great
This baby was delicious thru out- the bottle was emptied quickly.
If i had another, i perhaps would prefer to give it a bit of time to allow the flavors to meld a bit. This ia just a baby and will only get better.
Drink it or age it- a can't lose proposition.
Had it for dinner w/ friends and all enjoyed it very much. Great pinot noir!!!
A great wine. One I'll buy again and again.
Tastes like high quality central coast pinot. Definitely a fine buy at under $20.
Beautiful Pinot Noir
What a great opportunity to try 4 vintages of this Santa Rita Hills vineyard. Beautiful nose and fruit with a long finish. Well done!
Had friends over for holiday, and shared lot 519. Everyone loved it. Great taste and with the price
