Wine Details

Lot 504 features dark fruit aromas intermingled with chocolate notes and a hint of earth. There’s definitely a voluptuous feel to this wine, and it coats the palate with a deep black cherry richness backed by sublime oak integration. Truly a succulent experience. This is a big Pinot, perfect for more formal occasions and also a superb candidate for additional cellaring.

The Santa Maria Valley is a Pinot Noir mecca within the broader cool-climate Central Coast region. The winemaker behind today’s releases is one of the region’s pioneers, and simply put, has too much wine piling up in his caves. I was able to scoop up this gorgeous "Reserve" Pinot Noir that has already been aging beautifully for over two years in bottle. Under 150 cases are available. Compare at $50-$60.

On the peppery side, different but enjoyable. If you're looking for an Oregon style, lite bing cherry Pinot...this is not your guy.
I preferred the Lot 503 personally. Massive decantation please!

Terrible Pinot.

This Pinot Noir predominantly hits me with spice, then fruit. Tasty and rich!

This was delicious and definitely a great pinot for the very reasonable price.

Do not usually order much pinot as that is the one wine where it seems difficult to find a really good one under $30. Well, this one is it. Great fresh cherry aromas, nice mouthfeel, and wonderful flavor. Would buy this one again without a doubt.

Very sad that this one came and was sold out so soon. A little more expensive than the 503, but definitely worth the extra money for the added the richness and complexity
