Lot 447 has a wonderfully smoky nose interwoven with blueberry, raspberry, and kirsch. The palate is deeply concentrated with silky tannins and a rich, multi-faceted juicy finish that will continue to evolve with some time in the bottle. Fantastic.

Lot 447 2012 Lake County Red Blend is primarily sourced from one of the best vineyards in the Lake County area, Madder Lake Vineyard. Located on a seriously steep and rocky hillside at 2,250 foot elevation, these head-pruned Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and Syrah vines produce fantastically dense fruit that normally sells in for $30-$40 per bottle.
