A very pleasant surprise fro the cost! Drinks like a much more expensive Zin....

Good and drinkable
This was a good zinfandel. Drinkable and pleasant. Not very complex, but definitely a good value.

Very Nice!
If you are in the mood for a Zinfandel, this is a great one!

Good late afternoon drink
This Zin is a little on the "soft" side but still very good. My problem with it is 1 glass turned into 3 and an empty bottle. Very sippable!

Smooth Zin
Although it could use some "spice", but overall it is smooth and very easy to drink now and will be better in a few years.

Missing something
The Lot 431 was just OK. When I bought some I though it might be another CH fine. Not sure if it was 100% Zinfandel but it tasted more like a Zinfandel blend, it went fine with the pizza we had. At the CH price it was a good value.

Ok
Nothing great about this wine... It's not terrible it just Seems to be lacking what zins are all about.

The Wine for All Seasons
There is nothing better than a good Zinfandel, my apologizes to Cab lovers. This Zin is tops. It truly is the wine for all seasons.

Came back for more.
Stands up to any spicy food as well as after dinner.

Good Zin
I think this is a good but not great Zin. It is balanced and drinkable. However, I prefer Zins that have more of that brambly raspberry taste and more of a peppery finish. I liked this but think that Lot 487 has more of a classic Zin taste than this does.
