2012 Arroyo Seco Chardonnay
On these hot summer nights a good Chardonnay is always refreshing and the Arroyo Seco is always a good choice. If I'm having company and they are not familiar with Cameron Hughes wines I will open a few bottles and they always receive positive feedback. The Arroyo Seco is my summer favorite.
OK...Not real tasty
Not bold enough for my taste, OK very cold, not good with food!
Great Chardonnay for money
My wife and I love this wine, we thing for the money it a great value.
It has been great trying all the CH wines here in Delaware. Each one has been very good for the money. This Chard is one of the best.
I honestly bought this wine because of the 3 other reviews. We absolutely loved the 273 and were pretty pleased with the 330. I figured that the odds were in our favor that this one would be good too. By comparison, it is not horrible, just tasteless. There's a hint of the butter with the first sip and then after that there is little to no taste. Others may disagree, but, if I were you, I would try to get hold of a bottle to taste before ordering 6, like I did.
As Good As Lots 238, 273, and 328!!
This Chardonnay has become a new addiction with a discounted price! I was not a fan of Lot 402, so I was happy when this little gem just appeared out of nowhere. If you like those other vintages of Arroyo Seco Chard, then you will really like this! No bite at all--just smooth and really tasty!
Ross, Walnut Creek
Even better than the previous vintages
Favorite Chard I've had from 2012. Very buttery, smooth, and well balanced. Chards from the Arroyo Seco region just might be the best California has to offer right now (yes Napa, I'm looking at you).
