Partial to unoaked, but this was great!
Buttery is a perfect way to describe this wine. Silky on the tongue, it was a summer classic.
Too bad it's gone
Great stuff. We went thru 6 cases of this stuff. Yummy. Not as rich as Rombauer, but in that vicinity. Buttery, smooth, oaky. If you can find any in the retail stores, snap it up. You won't be disappointed.
Good strong flavoured chard.
If you like chadrs that have a strong and creamy flavour this is the one to get. To bad that it is discontinued. You might be able to fine some in retial stores though.
Its urgent, if there is ever a chance to put your cork screw into a Lot 417, do it without haste...it is a medal winner x100!
Awesome Chardonnay - from people who aren't huge Chard fans
This win was fantastic - and that is coming from a household that normally does not enjoy Chardonnays. Great body - buttery - delicious.
Buttery and Full-Bodied. 4 Stars, as it is little sweeter than I expected, with notes of Honey. Since everyone else really liked it, I quickly ordered more. I think this one will make a nice gift for the Holidays!
I think this wine is so good that I reordered it! Butterscotch, citrus and lovely finish.
This wine just jumps out of the glass with fruit, sweetness, acid, and richness. A perfect blend for the summer. Richer than a sauvignon blanc, but not overly heavy or oaky, either. The butteriness is really there, but this wine finishes clean and bright. Hard to find a better and more versitile summer wine. I'm getting a case with no hesitation. Well done!
Way too sweet!
Much sweeter than typical quality Monterey County Chardonnay.
Not buttery at all!
Old style Chardonnay
It has been a while since I have tried Chardonnay being mostly a red wine drinker, this brought back plesent memories.
