Wine Details
Opens with vanilla, white flower, and honeycomb aromas. On the palate, it’s obvious very quickly that the wine is made in a lush, buttery, rich style. Not overly sweet, with good acidity and structure, and a long finish that just keeps going and going. Creamy, refreshing, and absolutely delicious.

After sourcing wines all over California for over a decade, I can say with confidence that the intersection of quality and value for Chardonnay lies in Monterey County. The high winds, dry days, and ocean fog generated by its close proximity to the Pacific creates a very long growing season that’s perfect for Chardonnay, and the late harvest provides the grapes with an extra month of hang time that results in wines lush with tropical flavors and refreshing acidity. Barrel fermented in brand new American oak barrels, Lot 412 is a mouthwatering bottle of wine that embodies the best of Central Coast Chardonnay. Same producer as Lots 238 and 280. Possesses all the impact of the 2009s, but with better purity and complexity.
