Wine Details

Lot 393 is truly full-throttle juice, with a rip-roaring nose of passion fruit and guava elevated on a beam of flinty, citrus-y acidity. 40% barrel fermented in neutral oak, the palate is an artful interplay of juicy, mouthwatering acidity and lush tropical notes. Intense, racy, spine tingling, fantastic.

Cam Confidential

Sourced from a $25/bottle Napa SB program (mostly from old vines in eastern Rutherford), this is one of the more outrageous Sauvignon Blancs to come out of Napa Valley or anywhere on the North Coast.

My favorite SB to come from CH to date, and I have tried the past five releases. I have been searching for a source for more of this lot, and hesitated to write a review until now for fear of letting the secret out. I really hope Cam can wheel another deal with this producer!

My wife and I are on our last of four (4) cases bought. We are concerned about what we are going to enjoy next. Fabulous!!

What a wonderfully citrusy, fresh crisp wine. The ABV was an added bonus we never expected but the taste belied the strength with its nice smooth finish.

Not something I've come to expect from CH. Uninteresting, pedestrian and something that does not make an impression.

We have bought several bottles and our friends love to see them on the table.

Crisp, refreshing, nice fruit forward on the nose. Very much enjoyed another winner from Cameron Hughes.
