Wine Details

Opens up with a beautiful nose of raspberries and spice. The palate is juicy and begins with a spicy top note, with flavors of raspberry and the dark fruit impact of Petite Sirah. The Petite Sirah really adds muscle to the wine, but it definitely still retains the soft and fruity Zinfandel elements as well. This is a delicious, complex wine that's still perfect for everyday drinking.

Primarily sourced from the same vineyards as fan favorite Lot 362, Lot 386 is a fantastic wine that begins with a Zinfandel base, with layers of Syrah, Petite Sirah, and a touch of Graciano to round things out. If you're a fan of the Field Blends we've released so far, you won't be disappointed with this one. Big, bold, beautiful.

After loving other Cam blends, I was looking forward to Lot 386, but for me, it just didn't deliver. First, wine came splashing out of the bottle when I opened it with a waiter's key on a flat surface. Odd. I didn't pick up much berry, jammy goodness, rather just straight alcohol. This is my only negative review, ever, I swear! Moving on and moving forward....I'm enjoying Lot 599 tonight...review to come!

We were sent this instead of Lot 396 and what a nice substitute. Had a rich fruit and berry taste. Like a classic Zin with a soft tawny hint of leather and warm finish.

Why get a varietal when you can get one of Cam's blends. This one is tops. Smooth, fruity (which I like) and great finish.

Very pleasant wine, slight gravel body mixed with berry flavor and a slightly dry finish- a good quaffing wine. Both my wife and i enjoyed it and the QPR is great.

Great red blend! Enjoyed it with friends over stories and laughs. Was great without food, but definitely would pair well too! Good friend gave it "Two Thumbs Up" - so we sent her home with another bottle of Lot 386 (I sort of wish we'd have kept it - guess I'll have to buy more)!

This was a very good wine. Not the best I have had from CH, but still a great price and great value. Not as good as the Lodi, in my opinion.

We enjoy a good red blend - this one is outstanding! Love -Love! Most recent purchase was not our first. A really great value.

Guess I have been a snob; didn't think a Red Zin blend would ever be something I'd want to purchase in quantities for later. Tried this one at a dinner without knowing what it was and to my surprise, I'm a believer.

I have been drinking wines from Cameron Hughes for 5 plus years now and I must say that 386 is my pick for the bigest bang for your buck! I am not saying that it as good as a big Cab from Cam, but for what you get out of this blend for what you pay it would be very difficult to find a better deal and we all like a great deal!
