Wine Details
Dark and intense fruit on the nose redolent of mocha chocolate, meaty berries, leather with a beautiful violet lift. Plums and licorice are dark and concentrated across the palate then turn savory and smoky with a suave, persistent finish featuring roasted meats, coffee and blackberry notes. Dense and chewy yet silky and fine-grained throughout. Balancing acidity lends itself to a solid structure for further development in the bottle. Fantastic effort and definitely worthy of your attention. Decant for at least an hour and hold for another decade.

The flagship wine from our producer partner in Argentina (with $45 retail), Lot 375 Malbec Reserva is sourced from some of the best dirt in the Uco Valley of Mendoza, Vista Flores, where the 3300 foot altitude and 2.5 ton to the acre yields produce wines with terrific color and concentration. 2011 is probably the best vintage in Argentina since 2004 and the results are fantastic…without a doubt our best Malbec to date.
