This wine comes to us from one of my favorite producers up on Atlas Peak, an area rapidly becoming renowned for its Cabernet Sauvignon after a flirtation with Sangiovese in the 80’s and early 90’s. In fact, for our ultra-premium offering, Hughes Wellman, we source from an incredible series of vineyards that straddles Atlas Peak AVA and the Pritchard Hill area. This is Cab country folks.
