Lot 295 2010 Côtes du Rhône comes to us from a vineyard just outside the village of Visan in the heart of the Rhône Valley that was, interestingly enough, once a fortified farm of the Knights Templar. Now comprised of 30-year-old vines, the resulting wine is a blend of 80% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 5% Mourvedre that exemplifies the fantastic 2010 vintage. Terrific value at $10.
