This wine is sourced from vineyards grown in sites indicative of the appellation's best attributes for growing Pinot Noir - sandy loam soils within reach of the maritime influences of the Pacific Ocean. This wine is classic Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. A long cool period during fruit ripening allowed delicate fruit flavors and aromas to develop with grace and elegance. This wine is seamlessly integrated with pitch perfect balance and is just a great value all the way around. The fruit from the 2010 vintage was fuller and rounder than in 2009. A great oak regimen delivers an integrated wine of incredible value. Compare to a $45 Pinot Noir.
