This wine is a gorgeous example of Cabernet grown off the valley floor, showing a beautiful nose of ripe dark plum, blackberry pie, and lush cassis fruit – classic eastside Napa Valley. The palate is equally rich and dense with chewy tannins, dark fruit, and espresso notes all packed in a velvety framework. This wine is beautifully balanced throughout.

Cam Confidential
Lot 279 2009 Napa Valley Cabernet, was picked in early October, just before the rains. Our source winery, located in the Stags Leap District sells this wine for well over $50 and bottled the same base wine we did (though different final blends I'm sure). Sourced primarily from the Rutherford and Stags Leap AVA's, Lot 279 is meticulously made from terrific vineyards and highly pedigreed winemakers and is an incredible value at $20.
