Lot 248 hails from some of the most premier vineyard blocks along the eastern slopes of Alexander Valley. A diverse set of micro climates created by the region's complex topography coupled with well drained volcanic soils work to create a wine with supple tannins and complex fruit aromas and flavors. We've blended in a small percentage of Alexander Valley Petite Verdot to help elevate the delicate layers in the nose and to build softness and concentration on the palate.

Wish it wasn't sold out.
Opened a bottle last night to enjoy with my brisket. Was not disappointed. Very fruit forward, ton of depth and structure, and finished beautifully. Not sure it needs to age any longer...it is ready to go now. I thoroughly enjoyed this wine and disappointed it is sold out. I may open another bottle tonight.
