This wine shows opulent fruit with great extraction. Rich, ripe blue and black fruits are supported by ample structure as a bold full-bodied Syrah. Blueberry liqueur, mineral, graphite and chapparal explode on the nose and then all come together for long, old-world finish.

Style: Full, Bold

Cam Confidential
This is another fantastic Syrah from winemaker Sam’s Clear Lake property, Madder Lake Vineyard. Lot 236 2007 Clear Lake Syrah is absolutely stunning wine from the outstanding 2007 vintage. Madder Lake is an insanely rocky hillside, littered with boulders, stone and cobble of all sizes. Aged in 50% new French oak (a mixture of Taransaud, Francois Frère, Remond) this wine resided on its lees for a year. This is a smoking deal. Not to be missed. 600 cases produced.
