Classic black pepper and brilliant berry flavors soar skyward framed by creamy oak. Aromas of blackberry, cherry and mulberry underpinned by vanilla and baking spice dominate the nose. On the palate, juicy berries couple with firm acidity and soft, supple tannins. Beautiful fruit with a bold, yet playful finish.

Lot 219 hails from the slopes of Monte Rosso, the oldest continuously operated vineyard in California. These guys are some of the most famous pioneers of Zinfandel vineyards and have been doing Zin for a long time. This wine comes from a 40 dollar bottle program boasting 25% new America and French oak. This wine was barrel-aged for a year, and is just baby right now, decant for best result.
