A "sweet" Chardonnay?
This is an interesting wine. my first impression was, wow, this one is sweet! Like honey, but less so, of course. And then a certain fruitiness develops that takes over and lingers. With every sip there's a little something extra. I don't know what flint tastes like (that word was used in some of the notes for this wine), so I'm not going to use that term. I'm just a normal guy who either likes or doesn't, and I do like this wine. It tastes light, belying the 14% alcohol content. No oakiness, just happy summer notes that are, well, sweet, but in the good way. I believe this wine is sold out, but I'd buy more if I could. Another solid CH product.
